Signal Walkathon 2008 (9 Images)


- The 16th Signal Walkathon took place on Sunday 13th July at Hanley Park and featured a World Record attempt for the "Largest Time Warp Dance" - Pictures here!
 

Signal 1 Christmas Card Winner (1 Images)


- Michael Shaw, aged 10 from Monks Coppenhall Primary School in Crewe, recently won a competition to design this year's Signal Christmas Card. Michael Recently visited the Studios to pick up his pack of Christmas goodies ... here he is pictured with Signal 1's Darren McCoy.

- Sophie Rowley recently visited the Potteries Shopping Centre to collect her PS3 - which she won for her correct guess of 44 hours 54 minutes. Paul Lancaster (right) and Ice Beat's Adrian Oldfield presented Sphie with her prize. View this and other pictures of the Promotion here.
 

Diamond In Ice (10 Images)


- We were at the Potteries Shopping Centre on 27th and 28th October for our Diamond in Ice Competition. We froze an H Samuel diamond in a block of ice and started the countdown to meltdown! It took 32 hours 28 mins and 55 seconds to eventually melt! Congratulations to the winner Gary Crombie from Leek who guessed the closest time of 32 Hours and 27 minutes! Well Done Gary!
 

Help a Signal Child (9 Images)


- 'Every year Help a Signal Child our own fundraising appeal, raises thousands of pounds for local children's charities and appeals throughout Staffordshire and Cheshire. We raise money with a number of events throughout the year. We have our annual 'On Air Auction' with items that money just can't buy, 'Bring a Pound to Work' and the 'Walkathon' a local walk which has raised thousands over the past decade and continues to do so. Here are just some of the pictures of the young people who have benefitted.
